Who is CIRIS?
CIRIS is the Center for Information Resilience and Integrity Studies, an organization working to strengthen societal resilience and protect information integrity across the Philippines and the Indo-Pacific.
Our challenge
Disinformation weakens trust. We work on the other side of that.
Disinformation, misinformation and malign influence (DMMI) can create division, weaken trust and make communities more vulnerable. CIRIS, with its network of partners and experts, develops programs, projects and initiatives that promote societal resilience and preserve information integrity.
Societal resilience
Helping societies, communities, institutions and individuals withstand the threats and effects of DMMI across the Indo-Pacific.
Information integrity
Reducing the vulnerability of information, so that what people rely on stays accurate, consistent and reliable.
Our approach
How we work.
Capacity building and discussion
Sessions and forums that bring partners, experts and government together around actionable recommendations.
Research and policy support
Research, analysis and policy support with partners and experts on countering malign influence.
Partnerships and collaboration
Programs and activities run with organizations, institutions and individuals who share the goal.
Our Lab
The Cognitive Security Lab is CIRIS's research arm.
It produces the guides, analyses and briefers on current and emerging DMMI threats in the Philippines and the Indo-Pacific. Everything it publishes is open.
Our team
The people behind the work.
